To be fair a good proportion of the last Tory front bench agree with him, including Heseltine, Hurd and Clarke. Another pro-European figure we may be familliar with is John Gummer.
Kevin, you know full well that if they recanted that if there’s been a massive rebellion in the Lords by amongst others Heseltine and John Gummer then they probably have not admitted they were wrong on the Euro.
If so, expect him to make a speech next week, advocating British membership of the Euro.

I haven’t heard any of them say it is a good idea recently. Maybe they’ve all seen the light!
I consider myself pro-European. Though I am pro-the European people rather than pro-corrupt undemocratic members of unaccountable quango’s.
Greece is being told what to do by Brussels now and is having to obey. Without a doubt, if you give up your currency you give up your sovereignty
