The Labour Party has had some fantastic leaders in my lifetime.
Michael Foot was an absolutely brilliant Labour leader. His defence policy of unilateral nuclear disarmament assured Conservative victory and just to make sure Labour couldn’t possibly win, he sided with Argentina during the Falklands Conflict.
Neil Kinnock never really managed to surpass Michael Foot but he tried hard to do so. He kept his predecessors fantastic defence policy for a while and spent a lot of time going on about the sinking of the Belgrano when people were saying what about the ships of ours Argentina sank? Then in a stroke of genius Neil Kinnock sided with Arthur Scargill.
Now the Conservatives greatest asset, Labour leader Ed Milliband may have managed to surpass even Michael Foot in greatness. Siding with a country we are at war with is silly but siding with the French is suicidal. By siding with a French president against a British prime minister, Ed Milliband has probably become the greatest Labour leader ever. By saying that Sarkozy speaks for the British people he has shown the true nature of the British Labour party. They hate Britain.
Careful, you don’t want Labour members to read this and do something about him, surely?
Well I did warn them about choosing David Ellsmere as a parliamentarty candidate and they went along and voted for him.
