The Morning Star proves Churchill Correct Today

I think all Conservatives should read left wing publications as a source of mirth.

“Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”
:-Winston Churchill

Here’s a break down of the quote with quotes from Today’s Morning Star that prove Churchill correct.

Socialism is a philosophy of failure

“The TUC said that, while all fraud should be condemned, the cost of benefit fraud was dwarfed by that of tax evasion and avoidance.”

That’s Labour’s failure. Also tax avoidance is not a crime. They’re just envious of people with money in their pockets.
the creed of ignorance

“Trade unionists have accused David Cameron of using benefit fraud as “cover for swingeing cuts to genuine claimants”

Bread and circus’s for the wilfully ignorant.
the gospel of envy,

“David Cameron and Iain Duncan Smith have at least two things in common.
They are not short of the odd million quid or so, largely as a result of inherited wealth,”

We’re supposed to be jealous. The idea that all rich peoples wealth is inherited is also part of the creed of ignorance.
the equal sharing of misery

“And the reason why some benefit claims dwarf the return from paid work is that wages are far too low, which is partly why the gap between rich and poor in Britain is as wide as ever and likely to grow wider.”

Suggesting the redistribution of wealth which instead of making the poor richer makes the rich poorer making everyone poor bringing about the equal sharing of misery
