Suffolk Street Café -Barrack Corner, Ipswich

Partnership agencies in Ipswich will be hosting a street café on Barrack Corner in Norwich Road to bring the local community together.

The cafe will be on Thursday 1st December from 3pm to 7pm. The event has been organised jointly by the Suffolk Fire and Rescue Community Safety Team, Ipswich Central Safer Neighbourhood Team and Ipswich Borough Council Community Safety Team to promote fire safety and personal safety, while engaging with the local community. Other representatives involved in community development and cohesion will also be on hand.

The Police Pod will be on Barrack Corner along with a fire engine for young people to enjoy. Refreshments and a creche will be available in the small hall of the International Church and the church choir will be providing some entertainment. It is hoped that as many people as possible from the local community will come along and support the event. Interpreters will be present at the event and a variety of information will be available in many languages.
