Burglaries Ipswich

There has been a recent increase in house burglaries within the St Margaret’s and Alexandra Wards of Ipswich during recent days. Offenders have gained access to homes by forcing rear doors and then removed items including electrical goods and jewellery from within. The offences are taking place mainly during afternoon and evening times.

Police are asking homeowners to check that they have adequate security measures in place and to remain vigilant. Report any suspicious activity in the area by calling Police on 101; if it is believed that a crime is taking place then dial 999.

Remember, further crime reduction advice can be arranged by contacting your local Safer Neighbourhood Team or Lucy Mures (Crime Reduction officer) at Ipswich Police Station.
