This week has been a good week for democracy and democracy is being flaunted by the free world. Great Britain lead the way by David Cameron getting parliament recalled so that any possible military action against the Assad regime could be debated. This had many people around the world watching and observing how democracy works. Some were disappointed at the result due to Ed Milliband showing us all just how weak and pathetic he is by being a vulturine, political opportunist, but it was a good demonstration of democracy.
Now today US President Barrack Obama, after seeing his closest ally go to parliament and lose, has been courageous enough to risk going to congress. Now with Obama choosing to flaunt democracy to the world as our prime minister did, those who do not have the kind of freedom we take for granted will want it even more. It’s been a good week for the democratic process.
