The Suffolk Libraries BookFest is happening between 6th and 22nd March!
Ipswich County Library is hosting four events:
Simon Scarrow is here on Saturday 7th March; he is best known for his historical novels set in the days of the Roman Empire. The talk starts at 7:30pm, with the doors open from 7:00pm. Tickets are £10, including refreshments.
Harriet Evans will be giving a talk on Monday 9th March. She is an international best-selling author whose latest work, A Place for Us, was published to critical acclaim in January. The talk starts at 7:30pm, with the doors open from 7:00pm. Tickets are £10, including refreshments.
Catherine Johnson will be holding two workshops on Saturday 14th March:
In the morning, starting at 10:30am, is an event for children, Sawbones with Catherine Johnson – step back in time as Ezra McAdam and Loveday Finch unearth mystery, murder and gore galore. Discover the secrets of body snatchers and find out what was like in an 18th century operating theatre.
Tickets are £3.00, including refreshments.
Starting at 2:00pm, Catherine is holding a workshop on screenwriting, with tips, tricks and pointers to help and inspire new writers. Tickets are £5.00.
