My Week Ahead 4-10 May 2015

Monday 4 May – Pounding Ipswich for Conservative candidate, Ben Gummer

Tuesday 5 May – Pounding Ipswich for Conservative candidate, Ben Gummer

Wednesday 6 May – Pounding Ipswich for Conservative candidate, Ben Gummer

Thursday 7 May – Campaigning in Ipswich for Conservative candidate, Ben Gummer and Voting Conservative

Friday 8 May – Hopefully celebrating a Conservative landslide and finding out how many I’ve won by.

It has been a fabulous campaign so far with a wealth of blogging material taking place. For instance, yesterday a couple of us were campaigning in Gipping Ward when we came across six Labour activists including a borough councillor who were looking a bit lost. We asked them if they were lost and they insisted that they were not lost. Why they insisted that they were not lost I don’t know. It wasn’t like we’d have sent them to Washbrook or anything. While this was going on the UKIP candidate for Gipping decided to go in the Conservative candidate’s local and ask if they would put his leaflet in their window. Apparently the regulars present were a bit jarred that I wasn’t there. In the UKIP candidates leaflet he says that as he is retired he has time to work for the community in which he lives. This is interesting in light of the fact that he is standing in Gipping Ward and lives in Bixley Ward, the other side of town.

Did you miss me?
