Ipswich Buses – Route Changes

Route Changes
On Sunday 24 May, many routes are changing as Ipswich Buses aims to improve timekeeping and punctuality along with providing brand new links in East Ipswich to John Lewis at Home, Waitrose and Sainsburys at Warren Heath. Despite all these changes only one small part of Landseer Road will no longer be served by any of their services

They hope you like their changes and would welcome any feedback you have.

X1/X3 – Improved to every 7-8 minutes along Nacton Road! New timetable to improve reliability and X3 Monday – Friday peak times extended to Rail Station and The Havens.
1 – Route withdrawn. Route 6 will serve Ravenswood and Route X3 will serve Ransomes Europark at peak times.
4 – Only certain peak time journeys to serve Rail Station to improve reliability. New timetable as a result.
5 – Route withdrawn. Foxhall Road will still be served by Route X5 every 15 minutes.
X5 – Improved to operate every day, including Sundays and at increased frequencies! This replaces previous routes 5/11 along Foxhall Road.
6/11 ‘East Link’ – Linking two routes at the Hospital to provide new links for students, shoppers and workers. Also linking the Sidegate Lane, Renfrew Road areas with a direct route to John Lewis at Home, Waitrose and Sainsburys at Warren Heath. Route 6 also has a new evening and Sunday service.
7 – Re-timed to improve reliability.
9/10 – Re-timed to improve reliability.
12 – New timetable.
13 – New timetable.
16 – No longer linked with Route 6. New timetable as a result.
