Nominations In

The nominations for this May’s elections are now all in and can bee seen here.
Looking at the nominations there are a few things of interest. Firstly as always, the local Conservative Party has a selection of excellent candidates. Another thing that is noticeable is the number of Lib Dem and Green candidates who live in Saint Margaret’s. Another thing that is noticeable is that Reform Suffolk isn’t going to appear on the ballot paper. They are standing as independents instead of under the Reform Suffolk banner. This is a tactical error on their part but I haven’t ascertained if it is on purpose or not yet. But if somebody doesn’t want to win, what’s the point of standing? It is also interesting that Jeremy Corbyn’s candidate for Bridge has Dame Bryony’s address.
