Paul Cawthorn for Rushmere

Paul was born and raised in Ipswich, attending Sidegate Lane and has lived in Ipswich for most of his life. Paul is very active in Rushmere and makes himself readily available for local residents. As a former choirmaster of Rushmere church, Paul is known for a strong sense of community.

Paul has successfully canvassed for an early evening fast train from London to Ipswich, plus extra cycle storage at Ipswich station. He also actively encouraged M&S to enlarge and greatly improve their store.

  • Paul says

I am proud of Ipswich and it’s heritage, and and passionate about it’s future. I have witnessed the sad decline of Ipswich  centre, I want more to be done. Ipswich needs more county councillors that will stand up for it.

In Rushmere I am looking at measures that could be taken to improve safety for Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. I also want to tackle parking on grass Verges and have been working with councillor Stephen Ion and Ben Gummer to do this. Lend me your vote in May,  and I will help secure a better future for Ipswich and Rushmere.”
