At various altitudes

Cirrus
T’is a fine day where I am, a lovely day.

Cumulus
T’is fair where I am, the inspiration of “Shall I compare thee to a Summers Day

Cumulonimbus
Well I’ll grow and grow and grow. I’ll give the people what they want. It’ll go down    as a storm.

Cirrus
No Cumulonimbus, you’ll ruin a fine day.

Cumulonimbus
I am larger than you. Examine my droplets. I am for the many not the few.

Cirrus
Well where I am all people enjoy the fine weather.

Cumulus
You’re talking rubbish Cirrus and what you say can’t be trusted.

Cirrus
All Cumulonimbus can bring is destruction.

Cumulus
Come now, I’m going to be like Cumulonimbus. As a matter of fact I may become him. You’re just being a bigot.

Cirrus
Not at all.

Cumulonimbus
Cirrus, you think you are superior because of your privileged high altitude.

Cumulus
Absolutely Cumulonimbus. All Cirrus clouds want to do is look down on everybody and look after themselves.

Cumulonimbus
Ignore that bigot Cumulus. Let’s give it to them!

Cumulus
Right!

Cumulonimbus sends down bolts of lightening with thunderous shouts and poors torrents of rain, coursing widespread flooding and property damage. The people look up and scream curses at them.

Cumulus
See, Stratus I said Cumulonimbus can’t be trusted and look what he’s done. I can be trusted.

Stratus
You never said that!

Cumulonimbus
That damage was not caused by me. Those actions were provoked by Cirrus. Well what they need is more of the same from me!

Cumulonimbus sends down even more bolts of lightening with thunderous shouts and poors more torrents of rain, coursing more widespread flooding and property damage. Cumulus joins in. The people look up and scream curses at him.

Cumulus and Cumulonimbus
Give it to them. Hold on! we’re shrinking and our droplets have decreased.

Cumulonimbus
What have you done Cirrus? This must be your doing.

Cirrus
You have destroyed even yourselves.

Cumulonimbus and Cumulus disappear
