Four Suffolk Places named as best places to live in UK

For some reason that nobody can fathom Chelmsford has been nominated as the best place to live in East England. Also bizarrely Norwich made the list. The guide, which ranks towns on factors including jobs,

schools, broadband speed, culture, community spirit and local shops, featured Bungay, Hadleigh, Orford and of course, Woodbridge.

I am not surprised that Woodbridge, Bungay and Hadleigh are there because they are great towns. But I am surprised that Orford is there rather than Bury or Fram.

Suffolk Coastal MP Therese Coffey said

“Both Orford and Woodbridge have a great sense of community and are lively though tranquil places to live and enjoy.

Naturally Ipswich didn’t make it due to the mismanagement of the town by Ipswich Labour. It’s a cultural backwater, the town centre is in ruins, there is hardly any community spirit and a frustrating lack of civic pride there. I mean, who wouldn’t be

pleased to see the back of the place?

Naturally Woodbridge would make the list. I mean, who doesn’t love Woodbridge? It has good jobs, schools, broadband speed, culture, community spirit and local shops. Who wouldn’t want to live here?
