The Jeremy Corbyn Wing of the Labour Party
Here on the dRoss blog Alasdair Ross has written a good post about antisemoitism in the Labour Party.
Even some on the left, such as Owen Jones are now admitting that our party, the Labour Party has an anti-Semitism problem and as Owen sates maybe a bigger problem is that many on the left will accuse those of standing up to the anti-Semites as ‘exaggerating’ the problem, ‘making it up’ or it is being weaponised as a tool to defeat Corbyn.
Actually it’s worse than that. They also claim it is a tool to silence criticism of the policies of the Israeli government towards the Palestinians as well.
Alasdair also says,
What has this to do with Corbyn, you may ask? Because it is under his leadership that we have become a home for some of those anti- Semites. I am no fan of the current Israeli Government, their treatment of the Palestine people can not be excused, but we seem to have a large number of members whose belief in the Palestine cause makes them unable to accept we have an anti-Semitism problem in the party. Corbyn has always been a supporter of the Palestine people and that is not a problem, however his willingness to listen to those in Hamas at times will always make some feel unhappy with his leadership and as with his other friends at ‘Stop the War’, support of Palestine and being anti-Israel is just another way of being anti-west, anti-America.
Here Alasdair hits the nail on the head. I totally agree that the current Israeli Government’s treatment of the Palestine people can not be excused. But Corbyn’s willingness to listen to those in Hamas at times, his other friends at ‘Stop the War’, and left wing people who beleive that support of Palestine and being anti-Israel is just another way of being anti-west, anti-America, is a major problem.
Alasdair also says,
Corbyn is the one person who can put a stop to this problem, not for one second do I believe Jeremy is anti-Semitic , but it his silence that is damaging the party, Marc Wadsworth, in my opinion was rightfully thrown out of the party, but we have had no comment from our leader.
This is where I disagree with Alasdair. Corbyn can’t stop the anti-semites because they are an integral part of his base support.
Most of the blatent antisemitism can be seen online.
The Jeremy Corbyn Wing of the Conservative Party
The Conservative Party also has a Jeremy Corbyn Wing. Like their Labour counterparts, they are extremeist nutters and like their Labour counterparts came from the SWP, the British Communist Party and other extremist left wing groups and claim to be the true Labour Party and all who disagree with them are heretics, the Jeremy Corbyn wing of the Conservative Party have come from UKIP, EDL and some are former socialists who have decided that they are now Conservatives and they claim to be the true Conservatives and all who disagree with them are heretics.
Like their Labour counterparts, the Jeremy Corbyn Wing of the Conservative Party tends to opperate in cyberspace. It is probable that none of them are party members but if they were, they whould be flung out of the party because of their Unbritish views.
As the Jeremy Corbyn Wing of the Labour Party is anti-semetic, the Jeremy Corbyn Wing of the Conservative Party is Islamophobic. They are Islamophobic but on talking with them it is very quickly ascertained that they’ve never actually spoken to a Muslim ever and like the Jeremy Corbyn Wing of the Labour Party are convinced that all Jews are extreme Zionists who want to kill all Palestinians etc, the Jeremy Corbyn Wing of the Conservative Party are convinced that all Muslims are extremists who want Sharia law and want to kill everyone else etc.
We Conservatives are tolerant pragmatists and not ideolouges. Of course, Labour may have let their party be taken over by a bunch of extremist nutters, but we Conservatives are not going to allow it to happen to us.
The course of the Jeremy Corbyn Wing of both parties is multiculturalism, which is a form of aparthied, dividing comunities and creating mistrust and animosity.
