Time Tables in Rural Bus Stops

As part of Suffolk county council’s cost cutting they are going to stop time tables being displayed at rural bus stops. This makes perfect sense because in rural areas of the county, time tables are only there for aesthetic purposes to make it look like a bus stop anyway. Busses show up when they feel like it in rural areas and time tables are mere extrapolations.

In rural areas it is perfectly normal for a bus to arrive at least half an hour later than what is stated on the time table because the time table is only there to make it look like a bus stop. Of course in Ipswich a bus showed up over two and a half years late on Thursday. But then such a bad service is to be expected if the Lib Dems are involved in the dicision making.
