Tool Sharpening Scam

Police are urging businesses to be cautious when dealing with anyone offering free tool sharpening.

The warning comes after a business in Haverhill accepted an offer of free tool sharpening at the beginning of March and once the tools were returned, subsequently received numerous threats if large payments weren’t made.

The incident was reported to Suffolk Police who are now investigating the matter.
