After years of doing nothing the Labour Party in Suffolk is being busy. Obviously their campaign contains lots of lies as it always does like the lie that the County Council only fixes potholes in Conservative wards. The reason potholes are so bad in Labour wards is because Labour councillors are to lazy to report them. But with Labour’s canvas data looking so bad at the moment, they’ve actually started reporting them. Not just reporting them but making a song and dance about the fact they’ve reported them due to being desperate for votes. Bill Quinton made a song and dance about one in Priory. After this, Bridge Ward Candidate, Rob Bridgeman made a song and dance about one in Bridge. They then made a song and dance about the County Council scheduling them to be repaired like they would if anyone reported them. This was followed by Martin Cook wondering around Gainsbourough reporting them. Why this sudden interest in potholes they haven’t bothered to do anything about for years? Could it possibly be that the majority of Ipswich people have worked out that Labour councillors are useless and Ipswich Labour’s canvas data has rervealed it to them?
Labour’s canvas data across Suffolk is so bad, they’ve given up on trying to hold anything over Sudbury way so South Suffolk Labour activists can be in Ipswich to defend Gipping Ward. After all, losing the leader of the disfunctional borough council and the Ipswich Conservatives best asset after Tom Hunt MP would be very embarrassing. Losing Rushmere will be hard for them but by putting up the most detested MP Ipswich has ever had there demonstrates how Labour still take people’s votes for granted.
