Impact of Ipswich Election Results Ward by Ward

Congratulations to Ipswich Labour on taking control of the borough.

Impact of Election Results Ward by Ward
ALEXANDRA:
From bad to worse. The ward now has two useless Lib Dem Councillors and a Trade Unionist.
BIXLEY:
From very good to even better Kym Strout shall be a very hard working councillor much to the benefit of the residents of Bixley.
BRIDGE:
No change. Bridge shall continue to be served by councillors who don’t understand the ward like James Spencer does. He also works very hard for the community there. When you canvas with him, it drives you mad the amount of people who come and thank him for help.
CASTLE HILL:
No Change The ward continues to have three very competent, hard working councillors.
GAINSBOROUGH:
No change. Gainsborough is for Ipswich Labour’s stars to win and not do any case work. People will continue to seek help from the councillors of Holywells instead.
GIPPING:
No change. Gipping is also for Ipswich Labour’s stars to win and not do any case work. Though to be fair we did see Peter Gardiner about prior to his re-election.
HOLYWELLS:
No change. Liz Harsant will continue to be an excellent councillor for the people of Holywells. In all probability, Dale Jackson has already flown back to his home in Spain to lick his wounds.
PRIORY HEATH:
No change.
RUSHMERE:
No change. Judy Terry has been doing all the work in Rushmere for some time and Labour have been claiming it’s them doing the work for some time too.
SPRITES:
No change. Not electing a good candidate like Bob Hall is a big mistake.
ST JOHN’S:
No change.
ST MARGARET’S:
Much improvement. Sarah Stokes shall prove to be an excellent councillor for Saint Margaret’s and won’t come to help and then waffle like the Lib Dems
STOKE PARK:
No change. As Richard Pope has been ill for some time. Paul West and Nadia Cenci will carry on the good work they do in the ward.
WESTGATE:
Time will tell.
WHITEHOUSE:
Time will tell.
WHITTON:
Big mistake by the electorate. In Michelle Bevan the people of Whittton have lost a good councillor.
